Afua Mireku, DDS

Dr. Afua Mireku was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. She attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for both her undergraduate studies and dental education. There she earned her BS in Biopsychology and DDS, respectively. After dental school , she moved to Maryland and attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she completed an Advanced General Dental Residency in 2005, earned her certification in Endodontics in 2007, and Masters in Biomedical Science in 2008. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, ADA, Maryland State Dental Association, and Edward Pennick and Greater Chesapeake Study Clubs. In her free time, Dr. Mireku enjoys spending time with her family, boot camp classes, playing the violin, participating in church activities, and travelling.
